Please do not copy our engineering content to build competing products, attack the site, or misuse controlled technology. Our technical data describes our products under stated test conditions; you remain responsible for validating your own system. The full terms follow.

1.2 Who we are. Using the Website

2.1 Permitted use. You may browse the Website, view and download the materials we make available, compare products, request quotations and support, and communicate with us, for the purpose of evaluating, specifying, buying, integrating, operating or supporting Vector Technics products.

2.2 Prohibited conduct. You must not, and must not help anyone else to:

  1. copy, scrape, harvest or systematically download the Website's content, specifications or product data by automated means, except search-engine indexing that respects our robots.txt file;
  2. use the Website's content, specifications, drawings, models or images to design, develop, manufacture, market or source a product that copies or substitutes for a Vector Technics product, or to file any intellectual property application;
  3. use the Website's content to train, fine-tune or evaluate any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model, or to build a dataset, without our written consent;

2.4 Responsible disclosure of security issues. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in the Website or our systems, please report it to legal@vectortechnics.com with the subject "Security Report", including enough detail for us to reproduce it. If you act in good faith, report promptly, test only to the extent needed to demonstrate the issue, do not access, alter or keep data that is not yours, do not disrupt our services, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before disclosing it, we will not pursue legal action against you for that research and will acknowledge your report within five (5) business days. This does not authorise testing of our customers', suppliers' or service providers' systems.

2.5 Our rights. We may monitor use of the Website to protect its security, investigate suspected misuse, block or restrict access from any user, location or network, and cooperate with law-enforcement authorities, in each case in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

03

Technical Information, Downloads and Product Safety

3.1 Licence to design our products in. We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, store and use the datasheets, drawings, CAD and 3D models, performance data, application notes and similar materials we publish on the Website ("Technical Materials") to evaluate, specify, design, integrate, document, test, certify, operate and support systems that incorporate genuine Vector Technics products, and to share them with your contractors, customers and certification authorities for those purposes. You must keep all copyright, trade mark and revision notices intact. You may not use Technical Materials for any purpose in clause 2.2(2) or (3), or to make, or have made, any product other than a genuine Vector Technics product.

3.2 What our data means. Unless a Technical Material states otherwise, specifications and performance figures are typical values measured by us under the test conditions stated, on production or representative samples, and are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances. Actual performance depends on your installation, including propeller, airframe, voltage, controller settings, cooling, altitude and ambient conditions. Only values expressly identified as guaranteed in a quotation, order acknowledgement or signed agreement are binding on us.

3.3 Changes and revisions. We continually improve our products and may change specifications, designs and Technical Materials without notice. Always use the revision stated in your order acknowledgement or agreed specification. Products described as "coming soon", in development or as prototypes are not commitments to release them on any date or with any specification.

3.4 No offer. Information, prices or availability shown on the Website are an invitation to request a quotation, not an offer capable of acceptance. A contract arises only when we issue a written quotation and you accept it, or we acknowledge your purchase order in writing, on our sales terms.

3.5 Your responsibility for your system. You are solely responsible for: selecting products suitable for your application; designing, validating and testing your system, including under worst-case and failure conditions; obtaining all approvals, type certificates and permissions required for your system and its operation; and complying with all laws that apply to it, including the Drone Rules, 2021 in India, the rules of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, and aviation, radio-frequency, battery, environmental and product-safety law in every country where your system is made, sold or operated. Our Technical Materials are not engineering certification, design approval or regulatory compliance advice.

3.6 Safety warning. Our products include high-speed rotating machinery, propellers, high-current power electronics, lithium-battery systems, strong permanent magnets, hot surfaces and, for engines, flammable fuel and exhaust gases. Incorrect integration, operation or maintenance can cause fire, loss of aircraft, property damage, serious injury or death. Follow the installation and safety instructions supplied with each product, use appropriate guards, test procedures and personal protective equipment, and never test propulsion systems near people. The Website does not contain complete safety guidance for your system.

3.7 Certifications and quality claims. Statements on the Website about our certifications, quality management system or compliance describe our status on the date stated. Current certificates are available on request. Do not rely on a statement on the Website alone to meet a regulatory or contractual requirement; ask us for the relevant certificate or declaration.

04

Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership. The Website and its content, including text, photographs, videos, graphics, designs, product data, Technical Materials, software and the selection and arrangement of all of them, are owned by Vector Technics or its licensors and are protected by copyright, design, trade mark, trade secret and other intellectual property laws of India and other countries. Except for the licences expressly granted in clauses 2.1 and 3.1, no right or licence is granted to you, by implication or otherwise.

4.2 Our trade marks. "Vector Technics", our logo, "PropelCore" and our other product names and logos are trade marks of Vector Technics. You may refer to them accurately to identify our products, for example in your own documentation or when stating that your system uses a Vector Technics motor, but you may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product, or as part of your own company, product or domain name, without our written consent.

4.3 Third-party names and compatibility statements. Other names, trade marks and logos on the Website belong to their owners. Where we refer to another manufacturer's product, for example to state that one of our products is a compatible replacement, we do so only to identify that product and to describe compatibility. It does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from that manufacturer. Compatibility statements describe mechanical and electrical interface compatibility as stated in our Technical Materials; you must validate interchangeability in your own system.

4.4 Linking. You may link to any public page of the Website, provided that the link does not suggest an endorsement or relationship that does not exist, and that you do not frame or embed the Website's content so that it appears to be part of another site.

4.5 Feedback and submissions. If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about our products or the Website, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them for any purpose without obligation to you. Please do not send us confidential information or proprietary designs through the Website; if you wish to share them, ask us first and we will put an appropriate non-disclosure agreement in place. Information you send through the Website in connection with an enquiry will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used only to respond to and fulfil that enquiry.

4.6 Reporting infringement. If you believe content on the Website infringes your rights, write to legal@vectortechnics.com identifying the content, the right you claim and your contact details. We will review and respond promptly.

05

Export Control and Trade Compliance

5.1 Controlled items. Some of our products, technology and Technical Materials may be controlled under India's export control law, including the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 and the SCOMET list, and under the export control and sanctions laws of other countries, including the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom. Publication of material on the Website does not mean it is free of export controls.

5.2 Your obligations. You must not access, download, use, export, re-export or transfer any product, technology or Technical Material obtained through the Website: (a) to any country, territory, person or entity subject to United Nations, Indian, US, EU or UK sanctions or restrictions; (b) for any use connected with chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, or missiles capable of delivering them; or (c) otherwise in breach of applicable export control or sanctions law. You confirm that you are not, and are not owned or controlled by or acting for, a person on any such sanctions or restricted-party list.

5.3 Screening and end-use information. We screen enquiries and orders against applicable restricted-party lists, and may ask for end-use and end-user information, or an end-user certificate, before we quote, supply or share technical information. We may decline or cancel any enquiry or order, or restrict access to the Website, where we believe it is necessary to comply with the law.

5.4 Country-of-origin information. Where we state on the Website that a product is designed or manufactured in India, or describe its supply-chain origin, we will provide the formal declaration you need for your procurement or regulatory requirement on request. Only a declaration we issue for your order is binding.

06

Disclaimers, Liability and Indemnity

6.1 The Website is provided as is. We take care to keep the Website accurate, current and secure, but we provide it, and all content and Technical Materials on it, "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranty or representation, express or implied, that the Website or its content is complete, accurate, current, fit for any particular purpose, free of errors or harmful components, or available without interruption. Warranties for our products are given only in our sales terms, quotation or signed agreement, and not on the Website.

6.2 Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vector Technics, its affiliates and their directors, employees and agents will not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any: (a) loss of profit, revenue, business, contract, goodwill or anticipated savings; (b) loss or corruption of data; (c) costs of redesign, requalification, recall or replacement; or (d) indirect, special or consequential loss, in each case arising from use of, or reliance on, the Website or its content. Our total aggregate liability arising from the Website and these Terms will not exceed INR ten thousand (₹10,000).

6.3 What we do not exclude. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Liability relating to products we supply is governed by our sales terms and not by this clause.

6.4 Your indemnity. You agree to indemnify Vector Technics, its affiliates and their directors, employees and agents against all losses, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of clauses 2.2, 3.1, 4 or 5 of these Terms.

07

7.2 Availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Website at any time, including for maintenance, upgrades or security reasons, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available.

7.3 Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data collected through the Website.

7.4 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page with its effective date. Changes apply from that date to your use of the Website after it; they do not apply retrospectively. Earlier versions are available on request.

7.5 Governing law and disputes. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Website, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek urgent injunctive relief to protect our intellectual property, confidential information or the security of the Website in any court of competent jurisdiction. Disputes about products we supply are resolved as provided in our sales terms or signed agreement.

7.6 Other terms. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to an affiliate or successor. These Terms, with the documents referred to in clause 1.4, are the entire agreement between us about the Website. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
